A new club called the Coloring Club is open to students and teachers looking to relieve stress and express creativity through coloring. It is open on Fridays at lunch in room N72.
I talked to one student member of the club Aliyah Flores, who says, “It’s purpose is to bring people together and to get rid of stereotypes.” I also talked to other members, Amy Pacheco and Paulo Villarreal who told me that the club was created to help students relieve stress because there are a lot of kids that need to relax once in a while and coloring is a great way to do that.
They are planning lots of projects to do with coloring like candy grams to give students and teachers. The school usually buys the materials for the club like coloring books and markers. Every member of the club gets a coloring club shirt that they get to color and make their own.
If you need to relax and maybe express your creativity come to the Coloring Club.
