So far it has been an electrifying series between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Warriors took game one with a score of 101-86. MVP Stephen Curry dropped 22 points and dished out seven assists, and Klay Thompson added 18 points in the victory. Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph combined for 41 points and 18 rebounds in a losing effort. The Warriors dominated the whole game, but it should also be noted that Grizzlies’ point guard Mike Conley did not play in game one due to facial surgery.

Game two went to the Grizzles 97-90. Conley returned, providing a spark to the Grizzlies’ offense with 22 points and three assists. Randolph also had 20 points and seven rebounds in the win. The Warriors’ offense just could never get their offense going; they shot 41% from the field and only shot 6-26 from the 3-point line, which is a big part of their game. Curry had 19 points but did not shoot the ball well, and Draymond Green had 14 points. Golden State lost at home but only for the 3rd time this season.

Game three went to the Grizzlies again. The team came home to a very loud home crowd who had a major effect throughout the whole game. The final score was 99-89. Once again the Warrior offense couldn’t get it going: Curry had 23 points but he only shot 8-21 from the field. Thompson had 20 points as he shot 8-13 from the field, but no one else for the Warriors could get it going. Randolph and Gasol combined for 43 points and 23 rebounds, and Courtney Lee and Conley combined for 22 points and nine assists.

Game four finally went to the Warriors 101-84. Curry finally went off as he scored 33 points and five assists. Thompson and Green combined for 31 points which gave them a huge lift. This time the Grizzly offense didnt show up and a lot of it had to do with Golden State’s defense. Game five is tonight, and the game is back in Oakland where the fans are always loud!
