Watch the duel between the Cavaliers and the Warriors
May 29, 2015
Well, it has all come down to this. The final two teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers out of the Eastern Conference and the Golden State Warriors out of the Western conference.
The Cavaliers swept the Hawks easily in four games led by LeBron James of course and the surprise breakout player of the NBA playoffs is Tristian Thompson. In order for Cleveland to win this series they need Kyrie Irving to be fully healthy. Without him it’s going to be hard for them to win the series. We all expect James to be guarding Stephen Curry throughout the series and it should be a hard task due to Curry’s quickness.
The Warriors have their own problems as well. Today half of the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson, was diagnosed with a concussion. Luckliy, Thompson has about six days to rest up and get fully healthy again. The Warriors are also waiting on Maurice Speights to return from an ankle injury that he suffered in the Western Conference Semifinals against the Grizzlies. Speights is a big part to the Warrior bench as he can spread the floor and knock down jump shots and he rebounds very well.
Of course, everyone is looking at this series as LeBron James vs Stephen Curry, who we know will shine in the series, but it is about what player will breakout and have a major impact on the series. It could be Kyrie Irving or J.R Smith or it could be Draymond Green or Andre Igudola. This might be one of the most exciting finals in NBA history and hopefully it lives up to its expectations.
