Bullard High’s girls soccer team faced top-seeded Clovis North last night in the D-I semifinals. The knights came out victorious, winning 2-1, and will now be competing for the Valley Championship title. The Bronco’s scored the first goal and the Knights were down until senior captain, Sara Kast, tied the game 1-1 in the second half. Sophomore, Ryen Darling, drew a foul in the box in the 79th minute. Senior, Erin Banda, stepped up and made the penalty kick for the Knights, moving them on to the Valley Championships. The girls will be playing Buchanan at Buchanan on Saturday, March 1st. The game is scheduled for 11 a.m., however if it rains it will be moved to Tuesday at 3 p.m.
