Boys soccer moves on to Valley Championship

Last night, the Bullard boys soccer team took on Central in the D-1 semifinals. Fifth-seeded, BHS came out victorious against the No.1 ranked Grizzlies, moving them onto the Valley Championships. Junior, Jose Tovar, and senior, Kelly Dowding, both scored in the first half giving the team a 2-0 lead. Unfortunately, Central caught up during the second half; final score 2-2. After overtime the teams then went into penalty kicks. Junior goalie, Peter Larsen, blocked 2 shots, moving the team onto the championship. Bullard will be playing Buchanan High Saturday, March 1st at Buchanan for the Valley Championship title. The game is schedule for 1 p.m., however if it is raining it will be moved to Wednesday at 3 p.m.
