Getting into the Christmas spirit is hard sometimes. For some people, it’s seeing the lights or the Christmas tree, or maybe hearing a particular Christmas song. (“Jingle Bell Rock,” anyone?)
Sometimes even gift wrapping will put you in the Christmas spirit. Sure, it’s a chore. But the paper has cute snowmen and Santas on it. You know someone will eventually open the gift and smile.
The members of Bullard California Scholarship Federation are doing a gift wrapping day for Bullard Staff only. Staff can take unwrapped gifts to Room SW-107 on Wednesday December 14th after finals and get gifts wrapped for free! Now, staff won’t have to stress about having time to wrap their gifts.
To get further into the Christmas spirit, we asked five CSF officers what holiday movie gets them into the giving holiday mood.
Brandon Muhawi, a senior, said the movie that gets him into the holiday spirit is “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” He said, “It has really nice music, and it has a good, positive message.”
Rebekah Robinson, another senior, said the movie that gets her in the Christmas spirit is “A Christmas Story.” She says, “It’s a family tradition.”
Sunjum Singh, a senior, says her favorite Christmas movie is “Elf,” because “It’s so funny, lighthearted, and it puts you in the holiday mood.”
Tori Alpers, a junior, said her favorite holiday movie is also “Elf.” She says, “It’s been a tradition to watch it. It brings a twist in Christmas movies.”
Noah Rodriguez, a senior, has a simple reason for his choice, “A Miracle on 34th Street since it’s a classic.”
