In Democratic Republic of Congo, the news of an Ebola outbreak in the town of Bikoro in north-west DR Congo instantly brings to mind the horror of the epidemic that killed 11,000 people and infected 28,000 people between 2014 and 2016. Since April 4th, there have been a possible of 30 cases and 18 deaths, only 2 have been confirmed of Ebola. Ebola can be spread very rapidly because even the smallest amount of body fluid can infect you, symptoms don’t always show. The number of deaths range from 1 to 280. There is a conspiracy theory that it has gotten into Congo because of the trading with Africa and it had spread from there; Ebola river and/or fruit bats along with other animals.
