Matthew Brown has been teaching classes like Sociology for a living and various other subjects for the past 15+ years. His favorite class to teach is weight training. He also helps manage Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which is a club that meets every Wednesday at lunch in SW111. He runs that class with Miss Massey.

He decided to begin teaching because he wanted to be a coach; he’s been a coach for the past 21 years. He has coached many sports let me leave high school baseball and football.

Mr. Brown loves to go backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and he loves exploring. He loves seeing kids completing a struggle that they may find in class. If he had to choose another grade to teach, he said he would want to teach fifth grade because a lot of students have a tough time during that particular time.

Mr. Brown’s advice to those who want to pursue teaching is, “You need to realize if your heart is in the right place. There is more struggle in teaching that in learning. Teaching is an art, not just a job.” If you got to choose another great he want to teach he said he want to teach fifth grade because a lot of students have a tough time during that time.
