We recently interviewed Officer Gomez to learn more about him and his job. These are the questions we asked him.

Q: How long have you been a police officer?

A: “I’ve been a police officer for seventeen years.”

Q: When did you first want to become a police officer?

A: “I started in 1997 but started up again in 2000.”

Q: How long have you been a police officer?

A: “I have been a police officer for 17 years.”

Q: When did you start working for Bullard?

A: “February 2017 is when I started working at Bullard High.”

Q: What do you like about your job?

A: “What do like about my job? It’s engaging, but now I’m a school resources officer so my biggest challenges was the youth.”

Q: How do you feel about regulated police body cams? Do you feel safe?

A: “It has nothing to do with safety. It just deals with the credibility of myself and credibility of the investigation.”

Q: Have you ever been in life threatening situations?

A: “I’ve been in multiple situations. I’ve been very lucky.”

Officer Daniel Gomez has been working with Bullard since February 2017 and already seems like a very nice guy to talk to. He is always there to help you when you need something and I honestly feel safe with him around.
