Danny the DJ

In an era of trying to fit in, Danny Ramirez is the contrary. Danny is the new DJ at Bullard High School, giving Bullard football games a new dynamic and getting the crowd more involved. Danny wants to portray an image of being himself and not letting the opinion of others stop him from playing the music he enjoys. I’m sure that many staff and students can agree that Danny has really changed the games so far.  The energy from the crowd is way more intense than it has been in previous years.

Artists that heavily influence Danny are Marvin Gaye, Kid Cudi, and Kendrick Lamar, all of the artist share unique ways of making their music and don’t always make music that appeal to everyone but instead are themselves which ties back to the image he portrays. Danny began playing music at age 12 for his Church. From that moment on, his passion and appreciation grew for music. Danny is getting ready to release his first music project “Dionama”. Danny would like to say “A huge Thank you to all the staff I’ve been working with that allow me to DJ, and a special thank you to Mr. Castillo for the opportunity.”
