The season is changing and so are our outfits! Even though spring is around the corner and the weather is getting warmer, it is important for us to keep our school dress code in mind when dressing for school.

These days, as a girl, it seems so hard to find something that I would actually want to wear but still fits in the school dress code guidelines. Most stores that have trendy clothes are filled with short skirts, see-through shirts, off the shoulder shirts, etc. While a lot of these outfit choices are cute, they’re not exactly appropriate for school. I find that most of the time when I am shopping for school, I have to choose between things I actually want to wear and things that are in dress code.

One of our CA’s, Michelle, commented on dress code saying, “Do your best, because I’m out there too and I see a lot of the stuff has frays and rips. Just do the best you can, and if you’re questioning it, you probably shouldn’t wear it.”

All in all, there is only about a month and a half of school left for us to have to comply with dress code before we are free to wear whatever we’d like!
