The Big Fresno Fair has recently constructed a new event, Fantasy of lights as a new way of manifesting the holiday spirit. In recent days, a showcase of over 450 displays have been laid throughout the fair grounds for families to come and catch sight of the illuminated decorations in the comfort and safety of their own vehicles.

The entrance to the family-friendly light show is on Kings Canyon Ave. Upon entering, the event holders provide an area with food vendors: hot chocolate/candy, funnel cakes, caramel corn, etc.  Restrooms are available prior to entering the drive-thru jamboree. They also prefer that attendees remain in their vehicles at all times while going at a safe speed.  The entire trip will take an estimated 30 minutes. Some restrictions include no bikes, skateboards, skates, drones, alcohol, smoking, or pets with the exception of service animals. Note there is no designated pet relief area.

The event occurs December 3rd – January 3rd from 5:00PM – 9:00 PM excluding Christmas Day.  Santa Claus makes an appearance on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tickets purchased online are $20 Monday-Thursday and $25 Friday-Sunday. At the gate purchases are $25 Monday-Thursday and $30 Friday-Sunday. To purchase tickets or for more info, go to the Fresno Fair Events website.
