During Women’s History Month, various events such as parades, exhibitions, and educational programs are held to highlight the accomplishments of women in diverse fields, such as politics, science, literature, art, sports, and social work. They serve as an opportunity to recognize the work of women and raise awareness of sexism and its impact on women’s rights.

It wasn’t until the year 1919 that the 19th amendment was ratified, which had many reverberations beyond the borders of the United States, inspiring and bolstering women’s suffrage movements in the rest of world. It served as a beacon of hope for women in other countries who were striving for political rights and gender equality.
