Recently On December 21st, a kid 13 year old kid named Willis Gibson had beated the game Tetris by crashing the game at a ‘’999999’’ score. This is a record breaking score that literally breaking the game! This is a similar event like the one in 1999 with Pac-Man. A man named Mitchell was the first person to claim a perfect score of 3,333,360 points on the game of Pac-Man, which is another famous retro game. Originally Nintendo Entertainment thought it was impossible to beat Tetris, but

Willis Gibson proved that it was very possible.

While many gave Willis’s praise for this achievement, a news anchor named Jayne Secker who worked at Sky News, verbally trashed the boy in front of hundreds. She had made comments like, “Go outside’’ and “This is not a life goal’’. She even blamed Willis’ mother and how she takes care of him by saying, “As a mother I would just say ‘step away from the screen go outside’.’’ After the broadcast, the internet had turned into a flaming tornado and flamed Secker for saying it was not a life goal to a 13-year-old boy. The internet had become more furious when they found out that Willis had done it in memory of his deceased father who gave the console to Willis before he died. Secker has failed to comment further on her initial reactions to Willis’ achievement. Regardless, credit is given when credit is due! What Willis’ has accomplished is a true feat indeed.
