Thursday, February 29th, the last day of Black History Month, the Black Student Union threw a block party. At the block party there were some games, prizes and numeral food trucks. There were snack stands, and people were in line for all the food trucks. Music was playing and people were talking and interacting. BSU members everywhere at the block party, interacting, dancing, and singing.
People stayed for the food and the music, towards the end people started to leave, overall, the drinks, food, and music was the best part. Black Student Union members were giving out prizes and candy if you spin the wheel, and there was a bean bag toss game. People said they enjoyed the food and the music, others said they liked the prizes they received. There were prizes like stickers, keychains, and others received candy. The block party event was from 3:30-5:30 pm, shortly after the block party, they played The Princess and The Frog in the library.
