“Coming Home” – Usher

Usher Released a new album this year, titled, “Coming Home.” This album contains twenty tracks and is about 1 hour and 6 minutes. The album also has 8 features. The features include artists like Burna Boy, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, Latto, The-Dream, and H.E.R.

“Coming Home” is Usher’s ninth album in his 30-year career. The previous album was “Hard II Love.” “Coming Home” is a lengthier album. The album’s best moment is when Usher breaks through on some of his vocal performances. You can hear their performances on songs such as “Risk It All ft. H.E.R.” You can hear how focused and disciplined Usher’s vocals are. The track “Risk It All” feels like an old-school RnB song. Usher’s vocals complement the bright and airy beats, it also works well with between rap staccato.

On songs like “Kissing Strangers” “Bop” and “Stone Cold Freak,” the songs are smooth sounding and sound completely different from other tracks. I noticed as I listened through the album that it kind of sounded repetitive. It was like hearing the same bars over and over. It got a little hard to finish the album because of that, but it was still enjoyable.

The album was great overall. They are all great songs. Each song has something special about it that makes it great and unique. I can tell that Usher produces quality over quantity, he takes pride in his work, and it shows, especially for it only being his 9th studio album and it sounds amazing. Usher did what Usher does, he made a great album.
